Albany Patroons
The Albany Patroons are a professional basketball team that plays in The Basketball League (TBL). The team's name derives from patroon, the term for large landholders in New Netherland, the Dutch colony that once included the Albany region. Lia Auto Group is a sponsor once again this year at the $2,500 level.

Albany Medical Center – Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital
The Albany Med Health System is the largest and only regionally governed, not-for-profit health system in northeastern New York and western New England. Patients have access to community-based care and easy access to the highly specialized services of the region’s only academic medical center. Their mission: committed to improving health by attaining the highest standard of quality in care delivery, education, and research initiatives. Their vision: to best serve the needs of our communities, the Albany Med Health System will deliver its mission by means of a structure that will be, and remain, autonomous and self-governing. Their values: excellence and continuous improvement; integrity in every decision; compassion and respect for the dignity of every person; a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and welcoming System; collaboration throughout our System; responsiveness to the people of our communities; fiscal accountability. The Lia Auto Group is a proud sponsor of this year’s Radiothon taking place on May 1–2 at Albany Medical Center with a donation of $5,000.

Alzheimer’s Association
The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. They are the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research with the vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Lia once again is sponsoring the Evening to End Alzheimer's Gala and donating $10,000 to the cause.

American Cancer Society
ACS is a leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. They combat cancer through advocacy, research, and patient support to help ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Lia has been a dedicated corporate sponsor over the years and this year will donate $35,000 to the cause plus $15,000 in fundraising, sponsoring the Gala of Hope, the Red, White and Blue party, and Coaches vs Cancer basket “ball” as well as the 716 Golf event in Buffalo.

American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is one of the largest providers of blood products to hospitals in New York State. The Red Cross collects blood nearly every day of the year through voluntary donations in the Western New York area. Lia participated in the ARC Blood Challenge on Jan 2–5 competing against other Capital Region companies. Additionally, Lia donates each year to the Fire and Ice Gala that supports their lifesaving mission. Lia donated $3,000 towards the Fire & Ice Gala.

Baystate Children’s Hospital – WMAS Radiothon
As part of their commitment to giving back to the community, Lia Toyota is excited to announce their donation of $15,000 to Baystate Children's Hospital for the 7th consecutive year. A check presentation is scheduled March 4 at 1 p.m. The money donated will go towards the 24th Annual WMAS Radiothon to benefit Baystate Children’s Hospital, which takes place on March 5th and 6th. “We love our partnership with Baystate Hospital, we look forward to the Radiothon and take pride in supporting this amazing organization each year not only with a donation but with our time as we have volunteers who participate as well. It’s an important part of our company’s mission and vision to get involved and stay involved in the community,” said Michael Lia, Co-Owner, Lia Auto Group. “We are thrilled to welcome the community to our newly renovated dealership and share our commitment to providing exceptional service and support,” said Riley Campbell, General Manager at Lia Toyota. “Our partnership with Baystate Children’s Hospital is a testament to our dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of children in need.” About 50% of local pediatricians are trained at Baystate Children’s Hospital.

Baystate Health Foundation
The Baystate Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support the various hospitals, clinical areas, and programs within the Baystate Health system. It funds initiatives such as life-saving equipment, medical professional training, patient care enhancements, and community health programs. This year Lia sponsored the Noble Ball as the Valet Sponsor at $5,000.

Bridges Rockland Independent Living Center
Bridges is a community based, cross disability, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy for people with disabilities. They provide peer counseling, independent living skills training, transition support and more. Lia Toyota of Rockland once again is donating $10,000 to the organization, supporting their Accessible Veteran’s Transportation Program.

Center for Disability Services
The Center for Disability Services provides psychological assessments to aide in OPWDD eligibility determination. Areas evaluated include intellectual ability, adaptive behavior, and autism spectrum disorders. Lia Auto Group is once again a sponsor of the Siro’s Cup with a contribution of $3,850.

CM Fox
Each year, CM Fox collects raffle items for silent and live auctions, and more than a hundred golfers and generous sponsors help make the event possible by donating to various charities and volunteering their time. Lia is the Elite sponsor again this year, donating $2,500 and providing a HIO vehicle. Lia was also the Back Nine Bites sponsor for their charity golf tournament at The Bunker, donating $1,500 benefitting the Teresian House.

Enfield Little League
Enfield Little League is a long-standing member of Little League International and a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization chartered with Little League Baseball, Inc. Enfield Little League follows the founding core mission – “to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball”. Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being. This year Lia is a season sponsor, donating $7,125 that goes toward 5 spring teams, 10 fall teams, and signage. Lia also purchased T-shirts for the 6 school teams.

Enfield Hockey Association
The Enfield Hockey Association (EHA) is a volunteer-centric, nonprofit organization dedicated to the development, advancement, and enjoyment of youth hockey by kids residing in the Northern Connecticut/Western Massachusetts area. Lia is donating $2,500 to the Association this year.

Enfield PTO
The Enfield PTO was created to enhance relationships and increase communications between Enfield's Public Schools and its families. Lia has donated $3,350 to the organization which includes yearbook advertising and the calendar raffle.

Epilepsy Foundation of NENY
The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York, Inc. is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. The Foundation serves 22 counties including the Capital Region, the North Country, and the Upper Hudson Valley. This year Lia is sponsoring the Confections of Chocolate event again as the Hope Sponsor at $2,500, as well as donating a variety of auction items.

Flutter Club
Flutter Club, Inc. is a local, volunteer-powered nonprofit providing financial travel support to individuals and families in the Greater Capital Region navigating critical illness, developmental disabilities, fertility journeys, or seeking second medical opinions. The organization supports people traveling together to medical centers in New York City and Boston via The Flutter Express and provides each sponsored passenger with a curated care package of comfort items and essentials. Lia Toyota of Colonie presented a $5,000 check during a presentation ceremony on Tuesday, December 23 at 3:30 p.m. at the dealership.

Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor empowers people from every walk of life through education and the opportunities it creates. Since 2007, FOH has provided life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and expanded its mission to support families of first responders. This year Lia is proud to support with a donation of $15,000 to the Celebrate our Heroes event – Lia is the Patriot sponsor at $10,000 and $8,125 toward tickets to the tribute concert with Bryce Lee.

Food Bank of Western MA
The Food Bank works to provide food to people when and where they need it, and develop solutions to the drivers of hunger in our communities. Lia Toyota of Northampton will be sponsoring the March for the Food Bank at the $5,000 Bronze level.

Hammy Rel 13f Fund
The 4th Annual Hammy Rel13f Fund Golf Championship Benefiting the Cure Alzheimer's Fund in Memory of Nicola Melillo will be held on October 12, 2024. Lia is a proud sponsor once again this year to provide $6,500 towards Alzheimer’s research.

Jacks Place
Jack’s Place is a home for families from out of town whose loved ones are in rehab at Ellis Medicine and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital. Their mission is to sustain faith in community benevolence, maintain hope in the healing power and well-being of family members in patient care, while ensuring a safe, serene and love-filled environment.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest nonprofit health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Since 1949, they’ve invested nearly $1.7 billion in groundbreaking research and work to help ensure patients can access lifesaving treatments. Lia is sponsoring LLS’ Light the Night Walk once again this year on October 25th, sponsoring at the $10,000 level plus additional fundraising that will take place.

People’s Place Project Santa
People’s Place Project Santa is a thrift store, food pantry, wellness empowerment center, and community café in Kingston, NY serving Ulster County. Project Santa is a cherished tradition spanning over five decades, dedicated to bringing joy to children of Ulster County (infant to 16 years old) during the holiday season. Lia Honda of Kingston is the Dancer sponsor this year at $3,000.

Prescott Foundation
The Prescott Foundation was established in 2019 by former U.S. Navy nuclear engineer David Prescott with the mission to preserve and maintain the heritage and history of World War II aircraft while also giving back to the community. This year Lia is the Skilled Trades sponsor of the 5th Annual Night on the Tarmac on June 11th for $2,500.

Ronald McDonald House of Charities
Since 1982, the Albany Ronald McDonald House has served more than 17,000 families from across the country and around the world, providing a home away from home free of charge for families with children facing serious medical issues. This year Lia Auto Group and Vent Fitness will dually partner as the presenting sponsor of the Family 5K Fun Run at $5,000 each, totaling $10,000. Additionally, Lia is supporting the Charity Dinner for $1,000. The event takes place on June 14.

Ryder Entertainment/Upstate Concert Series
Lia will be sponsoring the Upstate Concert Series/Concerts in the Park held July 19 at the Pinehaven Country Club. Our donation of $5,000 will benefit Folds of Honor.

Safe Passage
Safe Passage is dedicated to creating a world free of domestic violence and relationship abuse. They support survivors and their families, engage the community, and advocate for systemic change. Lia is donating $5,000 this year to the cause as the Red Ribbon sponsor.

Salvation Army Springfield Corps
Lia Toyota, Honda and CJDR in Northampton and Wilbraham partnered with The Salvation Army of Springfield to help local families in need this holiday season, serving as host sites for the Angel Tree program. Lia Toyota also donated a 2025 Toyota RAV4 for The Salvation Army’s use during the busy holiday season and is supporting the annual Toy for Joy campaign with a $5,000 donation. On Monday, December 22, 2025, a $5,000 check was presented during a ceremony at 12:30 p.m. held at Lia Honda of Northampton.

Schenectady Youth Hockey Association
Lia is sponsoring the Schenectady Youth Hockey Organization for $2,500 this year. The purpose of the Schenectady Youth Hockey Association (SYHA) is to provide a fun and safe environment for children to learn and develop their hockey skills, while also emphasizing value-based life lessons such as hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, and discipline.

Siena College
Siena College is a learning community advancing the ideals of a liberal arts education, rooted in its identity as a Franciscan and Catholic institution. Lia is a long-term supporter of the school, sponsoring Siena Men’s Basketball with our most recent contract at $25,000 per year for 2 years. Additionally, we support the Saints Alive! Men’s Basketball Shoot at the $2,750 level. This year we are also supporting the Siena Baseball team as the Title Sponsor of their annual tournament at $2,500 and providing a Hole-In-One vehicle.

South End Children’s Café
Lia is sponsoring Café Italia in their 50th Anniversary fundraiser “La Dolce Vita Dei 50” held at Hamilton Square in Guilderland, NY on 6/28. Lia is a Silver Sponsor and is donating $2,500. All funds raised go to the South End Children’s Café, which provides healthy meals and support to children and families in the Capital Region.

St Peter’s Health Partners
St. Peter's Health Partners and Trinity Health serve together as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities. Lia is proud to sponsor this organization for their Holiday Kick Off at the $5,000 level.

Strong Young Minds

Things of My Very Own
Things of My Very Own is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families in crisis by providing comfort, dignity, and essential items during times of hardship. Lia Toyota of Colonie presented a $5,000 check during a presentation ceremony on Tuesday, December 23 at 3:30 p.m. at the dealership.

Thomas Patrick Morrison Foundation
Thomas Patrick Morrison Foundation provides financial grants to children with rare diseases and disorders. Each year Lia sponsors the charity’s “Fashioned by Friendship” event. This year we increased our level to the Dream Sponsor at $2,500. Additionally, we are once again the “Friends of the Foundation” sponsor at $1,500.

Town of Enfield
Lia is once again the auto sponsor of the Fourth of July Celebration, donating $5,000. The event is held on July 11, 12 and 13 this year. Lia’s donation will help pay for costs to make this event happen.

YMCA of Greater Springfield
The mission of the YMCA of Greater Springfield is to serve the human needs in greater Springfield by providing programs that promote lifelong personal growth and the balanced development of spirit, mind and body for all.
